Problem Note 50418: SAS® Workspace Servers that are defined with grid load balancing do not honor SAS® options that are defined in grid options sets

In SAS® 9.4 Grid Manager, grid-launched workspace servers do not honor SAS® options that are defined in grid options sets. A grid options set comprises grid options, SAS options, and required resources that can be configured in a logical grid server definition.
Because the SAS options are not honored by the grid-launched workspace servers, those options are ignored in the server connection request.
There is no workaround for this problem.
This issue is fixed in the first maintenance release for SAS® 9.4 (TS1M1).
